Welcome back guys, I hope you enjoyed part I of My Top Fitness Holy Grails since we all have probably been indulging just a little bit more than usual due to the holidays. Back to the realness

All you need is Love

Starting a new phase in life (or a new year) can be very scary and when we try to become more active and healthy alone we can feel isolated and discouraged quickly. This is why it is very important to create a support group to help attain your health goals. So grab your bestie, mother, brother or boo thang and get it Poppin’.

I personally love to use social media like Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram and my blog to create a positive environment to assist me in my journey as well as interact with people going through my same struggles. The struggle is really real! So keep your number ones close by, rooting you on all the way.

Happiness and Confidence is the Most Sexy

Find your happiness, do not beat yourself up over imperfections that you cannot change. We all have them! We are humans with imperfections that haunt our souls but our body is not the enemy. If anything our body is the great instrument we will ever own. It should be handled with great care and concern and not with hatred and scrutiny. Girl bye!

Just Do It Your Way

Every “body” is its own world, this means that you must train it in the best way that works for you! Exercising should be something fun and new. Something that raises your heart rate and throws your body out of it’s comfort zone, with out scaring you to return back to the gym. Exercising is about rewarding the body with endorphins and strength, not about punishing your body for what you’ve eaten. This was my biggest problem especially because I love to eat but feared getting a gut.

Apart from making you physically fit, it also boosts your energy throughout the day. Who really doesn’t need a boost during this winter days, I know this girl right here does!

Consistency

Good things come to those who work their asses off and never give up! This is why it is crucial to stay positive. Your results will come… if you’re training and eating right. This means even after one week, one month etc. even if you cannot physically see the results in front of you, every single effort is changing your body from the inside so don’t get discouraged. Just be patient…Nothing worth having comes easy.

I would like to end this post with one of my favorite quotes.”Healthy is an outfit that looks different on everybody

This is so true on some many levels that is scary. One thing I hope that you get from this passage is that your body is beautiful and working towards a healthier you. Your body will blossom into a better version than last year.  Don’t compare yourself to others, this only limit yourself to being only as excellent as others may be… who wants that? Plus it prevent you from achieving a higher level of accomplishment. Let others be guides not goals.

Don’t leave me hanging

Wow we got through both posts! Congrats and I know you too can get into the best shape of your life. It only takes a few baby steps to get started.

I challenge you to try some form of fitness this month (walking in the park, Zumba etc) taking into consideration my advice. Don’t be afraid to drag a friend with you to get it right and get it tight together (that’s what their there for). So…what are you going to try out this 2017.
