Today, I was determined to fight this rain storm with all of my might. While waiting outside, chic plastic umbrella in hand I knew that today I would not get wet. I even dared to wear my cream off the shoulder dress from Zara and my Oxford’s Brogues because let’s be serious it hardly rains in Madrid.
Normally I never have to venture out into the real world during working hours, unless it’s to have a coffee and toast, to stretch my legs out a bit or just to clear my mind. Thus the reason for my bold outfit of choice. Additionally here in Madrid, we are overcoming our second heat wave so I had to take advantage of this slightly cooler weather. But today was different. Today, I had to visit the US Embassy, deliver documents and pick up certificates from multiple departments. I managed to arrive to work without one raindrop to greet me in the morning. To day was destined to be a good day!
Good Morning everyone and Happy Sipping!
Here’s the scoop
Today I am so excited to bring you a new tea post, yesterday while shopping with friends I had to make my routine stop in the Tea Shop to see what new stock they had floating about and boy was I excited to try out some new teas.
Why Asian Wellness?
I am cleaning out my tea cabinet in search for new fresh tasting teas, since this winter has been all about heavy, bold teas and rooibos with tons of spices. Now I am ready to kick those to the side (until the colder months pop back in) and explore new tea options that satisfy my taste for new crisp and fun teas.
If I told you I have been slacking on my pimpin, would you believe me? Well, it really has been that way for the last past 2 months. Lord help me! However, as one of my blogging friends said, “Do what you need to do with your career first. Your blog will be here when you get into your rhythm“. Thanks, Michele!
The awkward lonely girl that lives inside of me.
I have always been a social butterfly by nature it’s something that I enjoy but personally I’ve always been a loaner. I enjoy my personal space and being alone (I truly do), but sometimes I wish I had the perfect person to invade my space and understand all of my corky interests. Do you FEEL me?
Welcome back to the ever-changing world of Doris, where I don’t even have a moment to stop and chat because that’s how smart business ladies do. Okay so are you ready to hear about the updates in my life…Keep on reading
I am not going to lie, but after trying the Blissful Harmony. I KNEW I was going to enjoy the Ceylon Ivory. And boy was I excited to finally try it out. What kind of fashionistic tea lover would I be without having a ride or die white tea by my side?
Why Ceylon Ivory?
I chose this tea mainly because all of its health benefits: reducing risk of cancer, cardiovascular disorder and improvement and oral health. Let’s not forget white tea is the “change your life” beauty tea that all the bloggers, social media and entertainment television rave about… So bring it here to MAMA with all of those “Ever So Good” greatly packed antioxidants and anti-aging properties so what’s not to love about it? I basically ripped the poor shipping box into pieces just trying to get into my new fountain of youth drink. I literally needed to try this tea yesterday!
It’s My Party Month!
Go Doris it’s your birthday…We gonna party like it’s YOUR BIRTHDAY!
I am thanking the lord for allowing me to see another birthday. Shout out to God for seeing me through everything and keeping me on fleek! I am so ready to start this new chapter and with this “Oh So” positive wave of events that have been showering and trickling into my personal and professional life. It’s lit!
Why Blissful Harmony?
Honestly I ran to this tea basically for its name and the plain fact that it has white and black tea, which translated into a antioxidant pack tea with a mix from heaven. Blissful Harmony is a perfect neutral tea for me, since the flavour is so light and flowery.
Can I tell you how excited I get when November rolls around the corner and I know that the Tea Shop is beginning to stock my favorite Christmas Tea blends (green, red, black tea blends AND Rooibos) in my favorite stores? OKAY!!
